Leveling in Blade & Brawn

The Level Calculator compares your results from standardized Assessments to historical records of human performance. It factors in your sex, age, and weight, and determines four Attribute Levels on a scale of 1 to 100. Level 100 is defined by world record performances.

Your Character Level is the average of your Attribute Levels. It serves as a comprehensive measurement of your current ability and the primary metric to improve during your fitness journey. Each Character Level corresponds with a Rank in your chosen Class.

The 4 Attributes

  • Agility

    The duration of transition from one direction to another. Applied in dynamic movements like dodging, parrying, or navigating complex terrain.

    Assessed by 3-cone drill time. This measures foot speed, coordination, and the ability to change direction quickly.

  • Endurance

    The resistance to fatigue. Applied in long, steady pursuits like jogging, rowing, or climbing.

    Assessed by 1-mile run time. This measures how quickly a long distance can be traveled.

  • Power

    The rate of force produced for a short duration. Applied in rapid acceleration like sprinting, jumping, striking, and throwing.

    Assessed by broad jump distance. This measures how far the body can be propelled horizontally in a single jump.

  • Strength

    The amount of raw force produced at a single moment. Applied in pulling, pushing, and holding against resistance.

    Assessed by 1-repetition maximum weight on bench press, squat, and deadlift. This measures strength throughout the body.
